Red River Foods announces the expansion of their Virginia headquarters in 2025.
RICHMOND, VA – DATE – Red River Foods, a leading vertically integrated global supplier of nuts, seeds, dried fruit, and specialty snacks, announced the opening of its expanded headquarters facility in Henrico County, Virginia. The investment will add pasteurizing, dry roasting, seasoning, blending, and packaging capabilities, creating over 20 new jobs in the Richmond region.
The new facility is designed to enhance operational flexibility by bringing previously outsourced services in-house. East coast pasteurization capabilities are limited so, at the request of their customers, Red River Foods has added this additional capability to better serve their customers. The additional capabilities will allow Red River Foods to handle modest roasting and packing volumes with greater efficiency and consistency, ensuring reliable quality and responsiveness for customers.
“This facility was designed with our customers in mind. By bringing certain processes in-house, we’re able to streamline operations, improve traceability, and shorten lead times for our customers.” says Dan Phipps, Chief Executive Officer at Red River Foods.
The company emphasized that its role in the market remains unchanged - focused on sourcing, supplying, and delivering the highest-quality nuts, seeds, and dried fruit to its customers around the world.
